Cal Speckman grew up on a farm, near Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, and holds degrees from the University of Minnesota and Oregon State University.
After receiving his Ph.D. in 1974, Dr. Speckman worked with basic and applied researchers in more than twenty countries. It was during this time that he formed the scientific foundation of A/B Technologies, established in 1982.
